Bank supports disability day
First National Bank (FNB) will sell special stickers for N$5 at all FNB branches countrywide in support of fund-raising efforts on World Disability Day that will be marked on 2 December. Proceeds from the sales will go to the National Federation of People with Disabilities in Namibia (NFPDN).
Gideon Nasilowski, chairman of NFPDN, who is also employed as an administration officer at FNB said: “The NFPDN applauds FNB for taking the disability issue seriously and we hope that their commitment serves as a challenge to all other companies in the country.”
To celebrate World Disability Day , Nasilowski urged people to wear Black T-shirts to show their support for this great cause. Picture: Gideon Nasilowski, chairman of the National Federation of People with Disabilities in Namibia
