Dundee against crime

Chief Inspector Bernhard Nghuulivali (front centre left) of the Tsumeb Police Station), Isai Nekundi (front centre right) Dundee Precious Metals’ Stakeholder Affairs Manager, and the members of the Tsumeb Neighbourhood Response, the Women and Men Network of Tsumeb and the Tsumeb Residents Fighting Against Crime neighbourhood watch. Dundee Precious Metals Tsumeb, the operator of the smelter, supported each of the three civil security groups with N$10,000 in three tranches, for this year. Chief Inspector Nguulivali commended the three three neighbourhood watch groups saying “Our statistics show remarkable improvement in reported crime and we would like to give thanks to the Tsumeb smelter management who provided the much needed aid to these essential groups of our community. Directly and indirectly Dundee is also our partner in fighting crime.” The three groups carry out their work with the help of 94 volunteers.

Typesetter

Today the Typesetter is a position at a newspaper that is mostly outdated since lead typesetting disappeared about fifty years ago. It is however a convenient term to indicate a person that is responsible for the technical refinement of publishing including web publishing. The Typesetter does not contribute to editorial content but makes sure that all elements are where they belong. - Ed.
