Classic band entertainers promise to rock Zoo Park concert

Heavyweights Elemotho and Big Ben are the two main acts for the upcoming Zoo Park concert. Scheduled for Saturday 05 March, the opening slot is reserved for Slicker, just to get the juices flowing before the big boys conquer the stage.
Elemotho is an established and popular local singer and song writer who describes his genre of music as Afro-Fusion.
The show which is organised by Amorlamor will include live band performances by Big Ben & Elemotho who said he wishes to “bring fire to the stage”, in a non literal sense of course.
Elemotho explained his musical philosophy saying that his music is inspired by tales of human life. “Whenever my grandmother told me stories, she would ask me, what did you learn from it?” These life snippets are the building blocks of his songs. And to take his appreciation of music to the next level, he said it is the highest form of expression that unveils the argument of truth, making the mundane beautiful.
The show starts at 19:00 with tickets costing N$150 in advance and N$200 at the gate. The tickets are available at the National Theatre of Namibia box office near the corner of John Meinert Street and Robert Mugabe Avenue in Windhoek.
Elemotho encouraged all to come out to the show as it will include performances from all three of his past albums including new tracks from his upcoming album titled ‘Beautiful World’. Big Ben added that the event is especially unique as it will include two of Namibia’s best live band performers on the same stage, in one night.
Refreshments will be sold at the bar.
