New NAMA trophy

With the NAMA awards on the horizon, the Namibian Music Awards Executive Committee last week launched a brand new design for the 6th Edition of the NAMA. Speaking at the unveiling of the new trophy, Cooperate Communications Officer of MTC, Mr John Ekongo said “the trophy is designed to match and reflect both the world-class platform that the NAMA has become, as well as the stellar achievements and growth of Namibian artists, musicians and producers. All NAMA category winners will receive one of the new trophies. Waxing lyrical over the new trophy are MTC’s Mr John Ekongo (left) and his colleague, Mr Joseph Mundjindi, MTC’s Sponsorship Manager. About The Author

Typesetter

Today the Typesetter is a position at a newspaper that is mostly outdated since lead typesetting disappeared about fifty years ago. It is however a convenient term to indicate a person that is responsible for the technical refinement of publishing including web publishing. The Typesetter does not contribute to editorial content but makes sure that all elements are where they belong. - Ed.
