Rains bring blessings to Dr Frans Indongo Primary

With widespread rains across the country, it seems there is more reason to celebrate. Earlier this week, learners at Dr Frans Indongo Primary School in Katutura performed a traditional dance in gratitude of a hefty donation from the Craton Foundation in partnership with the Frans Indongo Group. Attending the ceremony were, from the left, Martin Shipanga, Chairman of the Indongo Group, Dr Frans Indongo, Founder of the Frans Indongo Group, Hon Christopher Likuua, Councillor of the Tobias Hainyeko Constituency, Gerald Vries, Director of Education for Khomas (back row), Hon Anna Nghipondoka, the deputy Minister of Education, CEO of the Indongo Group, Kobus Van Graan (back row), Mrs Indongo (front row) and Ziggy Hartmann, Company Secretary and Admin Manager at Craton Mining and Exploration. The Craton Foundation and the Frans Indongo Group sponsored two new classrooms and storeroom to the value of N$500,000. Photograph by Musa Carter.

About The Author

Typesetter

Today the Typesetter is a position at a newspaper that is mostly outdated since lead typesetting disappeared about fifty years ago. It is however a convenient term to indicate a person that is responsible for the technical refinement of publishing including web publishing. The Typesetter does not contribute to editorial content but makes sure that all elements are where they belong. - Ed.
