NBF finalizes U20 regional trials

The Namibian Basketball Federation (NBF) held its final trials in Tsumeb last weekend. Fifty players and ten coaches from the Caprivi, Kavango, Oshikoto and Otjozondjupa regions took part. In the end six male (Paita Cecilio, Iyaloo Fransiseo, Mcdonald Garab, Stephen Kaluwa, Argentino Sengue, Siwongo Siwongo) and four female (Merlyn Lucas, Telma Matengu, Vanessa Neumann, Yolanda Tobias) coaches  were invited for the national trials from 27 to 29 April in Windhoek at Augustineum Secondary School. Following seven months of preparation, the most committed players will form the national team and represent Namibia at the U20 Zone VI Youth Games from 4 to 17 December in Zambia.
