Uaandja joins women summit

Nangula Uaandja, 2011 Business woman of the Year and managing director of PriceWaterhouseCoopers (PwC), will be attending the Global Summit of Women in Athen’s Greece from 30 May to 2 June.The participation of women in the economy is a key driver of development and over the past 22 years, the Global Summit of Women has worked hard to ensure that women from across the world are players in economic development.
The annually held summit has been enabling women from all corners of the world to share winning strategies to advance women’s economic lives and to ensure global prosperity.
And this year Nangula Uaandja, 2011 Business woman of the Year and managing director of PriceWaterhouseCoopers (PwC) will be joining more than 1000 female leaders at the Global Summit of Women under the theme “Women: The Engine of Economic Growth” in Athens, Greece from 30 May to 2 June.
The 2012 Summit will inform delegates on how to access Europe’s changing market, showcase women in business and government leaders from the region, provide skill-building sessions, as well as establish networks among such leaders for them to grow their businesses, expand their networks, enlarge opportunities in their countries, regions and world-wide.
Summit president, Irene Natividad said: “The Global Summit of Women has developed a reputation as an exciting, fact-filled, hands-on gathering of high caliber delegates from all parts of the globe.”
Natividad added that the summit continues to celebrate the leadership of women worldwide by bringing together businesswomen, professional and governmental leaders for three days of stimulating sessions designed to explore practical strategies and best practices in accelerating the economic progress of women worldwide.
