Fancy Hats and Small Change make a huge difference

The Namdeb Finance team based in Oranjemund frolicking on the carpet after calculating the proceeds from a number of successful events hosted by Namdeb employees during October and November. The diamond group’s employees raised more than N$17,000 for the Cancer Association. Namdeb acting Chief Executive Officer, Markus Lubbe, on behalf of the company’s employees and the communities of Oranjemund and Lüderitz, handed the proceeds to the Cancer Association on Wednesday. Under the umbrella theme, Together we can make a Difference, Namdeb’s people hosted various events ranging from collecting money, to engagement sessions, a hairspray day, a bandana and pink ribbon day, and a Fancy Hat tea party.
“I am inspired by our employees and the residents of Oranjemund and Lüderitz for their generosity to raising funds for the Cancer Association” said Lubbe ensuring them of the Namdeb team’s support for the course.
