David wins TLC’s Next Great Presenter: Check David out on Dstv Channel 172 as from 03 December

Namibia’s very own David Mbeha was announced as TLC’s Next Great Presenter, last week Wednesday. After months of searching and screening of the over 1500 entries received, David walked away with TLC Entertainment’s first every African Next Great Presenter title.
“I am extremely excited and humbled by the opportunity TLC Entertainment has awarded me, and I could not have done this without the support of my fans, friends and family who have allowed me to chase my dream,” explained an exuberant David. He concluded by thanking Discovery Networks saying that it is an honour to be part of the family and a brand that celebrates real stories.
“We would like to congratulate David for being crowned as the first winner of our TLC Next Great Presenter competition. His passion and love of TLC was evident throughout the competition and our viewers clearly saw something special in him,” said Lee Hobbs, Vice President of Channels for Emerging Business, Discovery Networks, CEEMEA. He stated that for them the competition showcased the great talent that exists in Africa and they are incredibly excited to embark on this journey with David.
David will become the channel’s first ever African presenter and will host TLC Top 10, a brand new four part series coming to TLC Entertainment, channel 172 on DStv on 3 December 2015 at 21:00.
Top 10 will revisit some of the best moments from the channel’s most popular shows. David will also receive a double page spread in the January issue of Cosmopolitan magazine, as well as a holiday for two to a premium resort located in the Indonesian Island of Bali, courtesy of Club Med.

Typesetter

Today the Typesetter is a position at a newspaper that is mostly outdated since lead typesetting disappeared about fifty years ago. It is however a convenient term to indicate a person that is responsible for the technical refinement of publishing including web publishing. The Typesetter does not contribute to editorial content but makes sure that all elements are where they belong. - Ed.
