How to catch a sporty Jaguar

Like the apex predator in the jungle, Baronice Hans shrugged off fierce competition last month to win the bi-annual Namibian Businesswoman of the Year Award. And just as the jungle Jaguar walks away with the best meat, this week she received the keys to a brand new, top of the range, Jaguar XE type, as the cream to top off her achievement. Baronice, the Head of Personal and Business Banking at Standard Bank Namibia, will enjoy a full year behind the wheel of this saucy vehicle, courtesy of sponsors, Jaguar Windhoek. Her stellar career proves that hard work pays and she will now move around in style and set an example to all up-coming female entrepreneurs and professionals. In the picture a clearly happy Baronice Hans receives the keys from the Sales Manager of Jaguar Windhoek, Dylan Kaye (middle), with best wishes from the organiser of the awards and Marketing Manager of the Economist, Desèré Lundon-Muller (left). Typesetter

Today the Typesetter is a position at a newspaper that is mostly outdated since lead typesetting disappeared about fifty years ago. It is however a convenient term to indicate a person that is responsible for the technical refinement of publishing including web publishing. The Typesetter does not contribute to editorial content but makes sure that all elements are where they belong. - Ed.
