German Ambassador Christian Schlaga (left) with Mrs Ndahambelela Hertha Lukileni the Chief Archivist at the National Archive who has been invited to visit Germany as part of a group that will look at “The future of libraries – libraries of the future.” Together with librarians, academics from the field of library and information science and library education as well as specialist journalists from around the world, Ms. Lukeleni will have the opportunity to familiarize herself with public libraries in Germany as professional service points incorporating the latest information and communications technologies. Her visit will expose her to best-practice models in German libraries.
