Source Chinese products at SA fair

In an effort to strengthen trade relations for African retailers, Global Sources Exhibitions South Africa (GSE SA) will again host its international trade fair in Johannesburg. To be held from 12 to 14 November 2015 at the Johannesburg Expo Centre, Nasrec, the Exhibition will assist retailers of consumer goods to build profitable business relations with experienced Asian suppliers.

Global Sources said this week, African retailers, business owners and entrepreneurs are facing a challenging economic environment due to factors, such as the escalating fuel and electricity costs, labour action and the decline of the South African Rand. “As consumer income and spending remain under pressure, it is imperative for businesses to source cost-effective business solutions,” says Tommy Wong, President of Global Sources Exhibitions. “The Exhibition offers buyers the opportunity to build mutually beneficial relations with Asian suppliers. Consequently, visitors are able to purchase quality products for resale at competitive prices, thereby increasing profit margins.”
Global Sources Exhibitions takes place in major trade hubs around the globe annually, including South Africa and Hong Kong. Global Sources, the company hosting the GSE, is a leading business-to-business media company and a primary facilitator of trade with Greater China.
The GSE SA offers visitors the opportunity to source quality products from more than 450 experienced suppliers. The Exhibition will feature innovative electronics; fashion accessories, footwear, apparel and fabrics; gifts and premiums; home products as well as hardware and machinery from internationally recognised suppliers.
Visitors are invited to attend a specialised conference, at no cost, during the first two days of the Fair at Conference Rooms Black Eagle A and B. The conference will provide insights into identifying suppliers, running a China Sourcing programme in Africa and purchasing strategies for successful procurement.
