Trustco wins Deloitte Award

Trustco Group Holdings and the Motor Vehicle Accident (MVA) Fund scooped this year’s Deloitte Best Company to Work For awards in the categories, Large Size Company and Small/Medium Size Company.

Announcing this year’s top performers at a breakfast function, Deloitte Namibia partner Ramsay McDonald applauded participating companies for going the extra mile in trying to understand their employees and their efforts in providing an employment experience that is on par or even better than similar companies in the southern African Region.
Deloitte also recognised the two organisations, Agra Limited and MVA Fund, that have
participated in the survey for five consecutive years.
Taking place under the banner of “Measure, Inspire, Motivate, Engage,”, McDonald noted that living in a developing world required new and innovative approaches to leading business. In a world where change is constant, disruption is rife and where high levels of complexity and pace are imminent, leaders find themselves in a very precarious position asking, “How do we lead our organisations under these circumstances?”
Other companies and organisations noted as Standard of Excellence Achievers were Agra Limited, Standard Bank, Santam, Old Mutual, Erongo RED, and NAMFISA.
Since its inception, the survey has seen a steady increase in participation. In the five years that
the survey has been conducted in Namibia, a total of 37 companies have participated. This year the survey increased to a total of 19 participating employers with a total of 12 152
employees, 2 255 in the small/medium size category and 9 897 employees in the large size company category.
