Strong teams in fistball league

SFC defensive player Heinz Harms will be in action this weekend in the Bank Windhoek National B league where his team is currently second on the log. Photograph provided by the Fistball Association of Namibia (FAN).The Bank Windhoek Fistball Championship will resume this Saturday at the SKW field in Windhoek.
Both the A and B leagues will be played at the same venue, but all eyes will be on the National A league newcomers SFC from Swakopmund who gave a strong performance at the first league meeting last month. SFC currently holds the second spot. There is no doubt that Patrick Schiep, a coach and player from Germany’s Fistball Bundesliga would have used the past weeks to work on his team’s weak points.
Current log leaders and defending champions SKW1, can expect a tough game when the two teams meet this weekend.
The Bank Windhoek National B league is delicately balanced with three teams on equal points at the top of the table. Defending Champions Cohen FC 3, a resurgent SKW 3 and SFC 2 all have six points. The three teams will be playing each other and the team which manages to gather the most points from these games will scoop the first spot on the log.
The A and B league games are set to start at 10h00 after the games of the U18 Championship between teams from SKW, Cohen FC and SFC have been completed.
