Third Enduro race to be fun-filled

The third round of the Bank Windhoek Enduro Namibian National Series will take place on Saturday, 14 April at the Omakwara event.
The Omakwara event is to be held on the Hennes farm in the Witvlei district. The event is co sponsored by Xtreme Quads, MGR Trade, CRP and Caterhire.
With a fun race included in this event, entries are set to be of the best in the history of the sport. Lucky draws and medals for finishers in the fun race are also up for grabs. In its pursuit to grow the sport, the Namibian Enduro Club thought that this would be an ideal venue for first timers to gain experience in the sport. A separate track has been laid out for this class and a junior class will also be provided for with a small 3km track. There will be no entry fee for these fun classes but riders will need to buy a day license for the races.
Saturday’s races will start at 07:00 with documentation and scruteneering for non – Windhoek riders. To get to Hennes farm, follow the B6 airport road from Windhoek for 145km and then turn left onto a gravel road – the D1658 – for another 27km where the pits will be located.
