In July this year, the London School of Marketing created a Local Access Point (LAP) in Windhoek to offer local prospective students the opportunity to complete a business qualification from a British institution.

This week the school reported it is making excellent progress, already enrolling students to pursue British business and marketing qualifications.
Their first order of business was to move into new premises at Kaiser Krone next to Town Square. As an access point for the business school, LAP Windhoek offers accredited British marketing qualifications awarded by the prestigious Anglia Ruskin University. The courses include Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Master’s degree in Marketing and Innovation and Master’s degree in Business Administration. Students will get British student ID cards and have the opportunity of attending their graduation ceremony in the United Kingdom.
Students can benefit from great employability prospects. Statistics show at least 90% of London School of Marketing graduates are in employment or further study six months after graduating. LAP Windhoek Manager, Andrew Brown said they have excellent ties with local companies, so students can be ensured of good internships and secured jobs.
The very enthusiastic team at Windhoek has already embarked on various marketing campaigns.
LAP Windhoek also specialises in taking in students from neighbouring countries who are residing in Namibia. If students are not confident in their English, LAP Windhoek will provide necessary support to improve their English proficiency to enable them to complete any of the offered courses with confidence.
LAP Windhoek has a lot to offer prospective students who will enroll with them. As an entry offer, Brown said students registering with LAP Windhoek on or before 31 October 2015 will be given a substantial discount of 20% on their course fees. With all that is going on, Brown said they have also decided to give back to society by setting up a competition to help a disadvantaged student with a free scholarship for one of the school’s courses. LAP Windhoek will soon be announcing the competition with a mysterious teaser and will be working with a famous personality to make this worthy cause a success.
For corporates, training requirements can be discussed and tailored to their employees’ needs. Relevant modules can be selected and delivered with certificates issued which would still count for part of the required course work for a LSM degree. LAP Windhoek also offers professional certifications from the Chartered Institute of Marketing and the Digital Marketing Institute.
