NAKARA gives to children

NAKARA Manufacturing, Leather, Tanning and Processing donated a cheque of N$30 000 to Lifeline Childline Namibia on 23 September. NAKARA gave Lifeline Childline the opportunity to fund-raise at their annual sale.

Mr Gustav A. Peters, Manufacturing Manager, NAKARA said that the sale was a huge success and that they are looking forward to doing it again and as a company they support all the initiatives of Lifeline Childline.
Ms Anna Matebele, Chief Executive Officer, Lifeline Childline said that the money will be used to keep the toll free national Childline Helpline running. Lifeline’s toll free number is 116. “We do appreciate this donation, because we have also noticed that adults are also calling on this line and therefore we are busy making arrangements to open a line for them,” she emphasised.
Lifeline Childline will also receive the proceeds from the snacks and beverages sold by NAKARA at the annual sale.
