The newly refurbished Standard Bank Outjo Branch was officially opened last month.

Standard Bank Namibia said they plan to establish several new or refurbished branches in the country to add impetus to the bank’s accelerated growth aspirations.
“In this highly competitive industry, customer service remains a key differentiator and is a key focus area for us at Standard Bank. This requires that we continually review how we can enhance our value propositions to our customers as well as improve their experience when they interact with us or visit our branches,” said Standard Bank Namibia’s Head of Personal and Business Banking, Baronice Hans.
The small town of Outjo is central to all tourist attractions in northern Namibia. The bank has seen an increase in business activities in the town and the district centred around livestock farming, charcoal production, tourism and hunting. “We are encouraged by these activities in Outjo, and it is for that reason that we decided to invest in the refurbishment of our branch and the town of Outjo,” added Hans.
He concluded by saying as one of Namibia’s oldest companies with 100 years of banking existence, Standard Bank Namibia stands firm on its commitment to financial inclusivity to all Namibians.
