Bank Windhoek rewards exellence

Best Overall Branch: Bank Windhoek’s main branch in the capital, last week received the Overall Best Branch Award at the 2015 Executive Management Awards that were held at a local hotel. The Windhoek branch of Bank Windhoek last week was awarded the floating trophy for the Overall Best Branch of the Year at the Bank Windhoek Holdings’ Annual Executive Awards.
The Windhoek branch was also awarded the Gold Award in the Large Branch Category for Retail Branches, while the Silver Award went to the Walvis Bay Branch.

In accepting the award, Windhoek Branch Manager, Bennie van Wyk, said,“Our success can be attributed to a very capable and dedicated team, excellent support from all the head office departments and above all, our exceptional clients.”
In the Medium Branch Category, the Ondangwa branch took the Gold Award with Gobabis coming in second for a Silver Award.
In the Small Branch category, the Gold Award went to Oranjemund and the Silver to Aranos.
In the category for Specialist Finance branches, the Micro Finance branch was awarded the Gold Award and the Property Finance branch was awarded the Silver Award.
At the same event, the Swakopmund branch was announced as the winners of the Bank Windhoek Cancer Apple Project Entrepreneurial Challenge Award for staff.
The Bank Windhoek Holdings Executive Awards are held annually to recognize and reward excellent performance by branches and departments. It is also a platform where the other companies in the Bank Windhoek Holdings group, Capricorn Asset Management and Welwitschia Insurance Brokers, recognize their own staff and the support of Bank Windhoek’s branches.
