FNB enters in best company trials

FNB Namibia announced that it participated in the recent 2015 Deloitte Best Company to Work for on a trial basis. Andrew Kanime, Head of HR at the FNB Namibia Group said, “FNB Namibia has always participated in the internal People Pillar Survey (PPS) which allows us to benchmark staff engagement levels within the FirstRand Group.

However, as part of our Strategy 2025 and aspiration to become the “best employer to the best people in Namibia by 2020”, it has become an imperative for us to also measure our engagement levels relative to other employers within the Namibian labour market.”
The bank participated in the 2015 Deloitte Best Company to Work for Survey on an “unranked” basis with the intent to establish how they compared with other employers in Namibia when it comes to treatment of people as well as the application of people practices. “In other words, participation in the BCTWF survey will give us an opportunity to take an insightful review of employees’ experiences and perceptions on issues pertaining to the quality of working life in the Group.”
