Mobile roaming crucial for SADC integration

Telecommunications officials from Zambia, Zimbabwe and Botswana met their Namibian counterparts last week to reaffirm their commitment to implement the SADC Home and Away Roaming glide path.

The meeting stems from the SADC Ministers responsible for Communications, ICT and Postal Services meeting which was held in Walvis Bay on 26 June 2015. The meeting was hosted by the Communications Regulatory Authority of Nammibia and chaired by Ua-Ndjarakana, the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Information and Communication Technology.
