Benjamin Abed

Benjamin Abed, a Fitter and Turner graduate from the Namibian Institute of Mining and Technology (NIMT) is number 1000 on the list of employees recruited by Swakop Uranium for their Husab mine near Arandis.

Abed who hails from the Omusati region says it has been a lifelong dream to work in the mining industry. “While at NIMT, I became familiar with various mines in the Erongo region, and many of us could only hope for a job at Swakop Uranium. Today, I am one of the fortunate few to have gotten employment at the company,” he said.
Abed is happy to work for Swakop Uranium. While this is his first employer, he is eager to make a meaningful contribution at the company and to grow and enhance his skills in his chosen field.
