Boyz ll Men arrive for spring

Namibia Breweries Limited (NBL) announced this week that Windhoek Draught Live, an annual music event will feature Boyz ll Men, an American R&B vocal group on 30 October at the Hage Geingob Stadium. This new entertainment event follows the successful music concert in 2014 when Windhoek Draught hosted P-Square, a Nigerian act, in Windhoek.

Elize van Kardenburg, Senior Brand Manager Windhoek Draught, NBL, said that in light of the successful P-Square concert that was held last year, they are excited to bring another unforgettable, For-Real experience to world-class people with world-class entertainment and enjoying their world-class beer. “We believe in real experiences and we want to share these experiences with the people who love our beer,” she added.
Boyz ll Men’s hit ‘End of the Road’ set a new record for longevity, by staying at number one on the Billboard Hot 100 for 13 weeks, breaking the decades-old record held by Elvis Presley. And as of 2015, their song ‘One Sweet Day’ still holds the alltime record with 16 week at the top of the Hot 100. The trio continue to perform worldwide with their most recent studio album, Collide, released in October 2014. This will be their first time in southern Africa and tickets will be available as from 10 August 2015.
Gates at the stadium open at 16:00 and tickets are available at Computicked from N$300 for standard tickets, N$500 for the Golden Circle and N$10,000 for corporate booths. Tickets will not be for sale at the stadium on the night of the event.
