Trustco airshow ready for takeoff

Preparations for the Trustco Namibia International Air Show 2015 staged and hosted by the Aircraft Owners & Pilots Association (AOPA) on 01 August 2015 at the Hosea Kutako International Airport outside Windhoek are in full swing. Participants and exhibitors from Namibia as well as outside the country are signing up on a daily basis.

Internationally renowned display pilots and popular air show aircraft already form part of the spectacular display programme: The Buccaneer, Hawker-Hunter and L39 jets, modern transport jets as well as Pitts Special, MX2 and Harvard Aerobatic- and Formation teams will perform their thundering and smoke-trailed flights. Helicopters, skydivers and the infamous P51-Mustang of days gone by will entertain the spectators.
Scheduled Airline Arrivals and Departures on that day will form part of the programme. In addition, an Airbus 320 Airliner will also perform an aerial display. The day’s programme will end with the thrilling illuminated Harvard-Formation display just after sunset!
All displays will be accompanied by live commentary and specially selected music by world renowned air show commentator Brian Emmenis and frequent coverage and live streaming will be provided by the local digital media.
These are only a few highlights that spectators can expect for the day. The final programme will be published closer to time. Static aircraft and aviation related products will be exhibited. A plethora of food, beverage and coffee outlets will provide the necessary refreshments.
