Central bank supports entrepreneurship

The Namibia Business Innovation Centre and in particular the Innovation Marketplace, has demonstrated its commitment towards addressing the needs of small and medium enterprises and the Namibian people, mainly through its various activities that provides, empower and innovate.
The Bank of Namibia recognises the important role that the NBIC plays in creating growth opportunities and improving the quality of life of all Namibians in support of our national dream, Vision 2030, hence the contribution towards the centre.
Handing over the cheque for the donation, Ndangi Katoma, director of the Bank of Namibia’s Strategic Communications and Financial Sector Development Department said : “The Innovation Market Place of the NBIC at the Polytechnic of Namibia, is an important piece in the puzzle in creating growth opportunities with a view to improve the quality of life of all Namibians in support of our national dream, Vision 2030”.
The Bank of Namibia has to date, injected N$1 million into the Namibia Business Innovation Centre.
