In form Kohne peddles to victory

Heinrich Kohne continued to kick dust into the eyes of his competitors

Team KIA Elite rider Heinrich Kohne was in top form over the weekend once again as he celebrated his second win in the Elite Men’s category of the Nedbank Cross Country Series. Kohne, who had already triumphed during the first race of the series during April, crossed the finish line after seven rounds in a time of 1:31:45.85 hours.

The second place went to Raul Costa Seibeb (1:34:34.17), winner of the first KIA MTB series race a fortnight ago. Tjipe Murangi had to settle for third place (1:38:27.89). Irene Steyn was the only competitor in the elite women’s division and therefore took the top honours in a time of 1:33:04.00.
The junior men category was once again won by Herbert Peters (1:40:00.40).Luke Munting followed in second place (1:41:55.67) and Michael Pekalski in third (1:42:15.29). Meanwhile Steffanie Grossmann took the top honours in the junior ladies division with a time of 1:44:24.00. Her only opponent Anke Janik finished a vast distance behind (1:44:24.00).
