The two winners of a Windhoek Lager competition, Hilma Tuukondyele and Dennis Narib, received the excellent news this week that they will soon leave for London to attend the annual Didier Drogba Foundation Charity Ball on Saturday.

African soccer star, Didier Drogba is the advertising icon for Windhoek Lager’s aggressive marketing campaign currently running in several African countries. Cementing this relationship, Namibia Breweries Ltd, the brewers of Windhoek Lager, ran a competition for beer lovers to win the trip of a lifetime.
Rose Shippiki, National Marketing Manager at NBL, said: “We looked at our relationship with Didier Drogba and the impact he has had on the people of Namibia over this time. The decision was mutual and Drogba offered Namibia an opportunity not only to attend the Charity Ball, but to benefit from proceedings. It is in this realm that we ran a competition offering Windhoek Lager supporters an all-expenses-paid trip to London to see this World-Class African hero raising money to help those in need.”
Competition winner, Hilma Tuukondyele shared her excitement and appreciation: “I am extremely grateful at this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity that my favourite beer-brand, Windhoek Lager has given me to go to the London and meet soccer legend, Didier Drogba.
The other winner, Dennis Franco Narib, could not contain his excitement, saying “Wow! When I heard I won the competition to travel to London to be amongst world-class soccer heroes, I couldn’t believe it. I am so happy because I always enter each and every Windhoek Lager competition and finally it’s paying off!”
