Soccer legends lend hand at tree planting
The FNB Global United team of international soccer players arrived earlier this week for their series of Climate Kick matches this weekend.
Lending weight to the environmental approach, the players visited the First Lady Penehupifo Pohamba Kindergarten where, to the delight of the children, their soccer idols helped them get new green wood into the ground. Former international soccer stars Andreas Gorlitz, Lothar Sippel, Geert Brusselers and Martin Driller, joined the tots and their teachers to turn the visit into a memorable occasion.
