Andrew Jansen hands over the baton

Simonis Storm Securities this week announced the appointment of Mr. Bruce Hansen as its Managing Director effective 1 February 2015. Former Managing Director Mr. Andrew Jansen will now head Simonis Storm’s holding company, Lexus Securities.

“This shift is something we have diligently planned in order to avail me more time to grow and expand the business and continue making a significant contribution to the financial sector and Namibia as a whole,” said Jansen.
Jansen is accredited with Simonis’ transformation and transition into an independent Namibian owned financial services owned company and was responsible for the establishment of a market leading research function, growing the company’s assets under management tenfold over a 13 year period.
Said Jansen, “I am extremely proud of Bruce’s achievements as the Money Market and Capital Director. He has proven to be an asset to the business and I trust that he is not only very capable but also the right person to lead Simonis Storm into its new season. In addition, he is diligent and a great listener which allows him to discern client needs.”
