Lots of cement for the regions

Nangula Mbako (left) former Permanent Secretary in the Office of the Prime Minister last week received a symbolic cement bag from the Managing Director of Ohorongo Cement, Hans-Wilhelm Schütte, when Ohorongo announced it has donated a truck of cement to each of the fourteen regions.

Mbako said the regional governments will be assisted by the central government to identify projects for which the cement will be used. Schütte said “This is not the first investment into Namibia of this kind, as the company has invested more than N$6.5 million into Corporate Social Investment since its inception.”
