Junior Mayor has a heart like Obama

The City of Windhoek officially inaugurated the 2015/16 City of Windhoek Junior Council last week at the Safari Hotel.

His Worship, Councillor Muesee Kazapua, the Mayor of the City of Windhoek said nearly 50% of the developing world’s population is the youth and children and therefore they represent both a challenge and an opportunity for development.”The City of Windhoek Junior Council is not just a meeting point where young people can assemble and deliberate on issues affecting them, but it is an instrument where young people are exercising their civic duty, patriotism and volunteerism,” he added. Junior Mayor Gabriel Haugh of Delta Secondary School said that he is thankful for this opportunity and that he is going to make Namibia proud.
