NamBIC survey launched

The Namibia Chamber of Commerce and Industry (NCCI), the Namibian Manufacturers’ Association (NMA), the Institute of Public Policy Research (IPPR) and Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) working on behalf of Germany partnered up last week to carry out the 2015 NamBIC Survey.
The sixth edition of the survey commenced on 23 February and is being carried out by Business Intelligence Africa through telephonic interviews. Work is expected to be finalized at the end of April 2015.
Currently members of the business community are being encouraged to take part in the survey to ensure that the results represent their views. The business communities’ participation will ensure that the development of interventions and policies is based on the real needs of the private sector.
In the last NamBIC survey almost 600 businesses across all sectors and sizes participated. As in the previous surveys, the results and conclusions will be shared and discussed with the business community, government as well as other stakeholders.
