Broll team excels inhouse and out

Broll Namibia’s staff complement comprises Helen Bosshart – Property Manager, Adri Genis – Admin Manager, Pascale Poultney – Leasing Manager, Marco Wenk – Managing Director, Karen Keys – Finance Manager, Peter Gruttemeyer – the CEO, Johan van der Westhuizen – General Manager and Jan Brand – Property Manager.

During the round of PMR awards earlier this month, property manager Broll Namibia received a Golden Arrow, which the company said, corroborates its three internal awards bestowed by its parent, the Ohlthaver & List Group.
After the PMR Golden Arrow, Broll’s Managing Director, Marco Wenk said: “the performance of any company is a combined effort of all individuals serving the organization.

Our winning recipe is the ownership which each person within Broll Namibia displays not only regarding their own responsibilities, but that of all others as well.
It is this ownership culture, our drive towards excellence through continuous leadership growth and a breakthrough culture which allows us to build on and exceed past successes.
Everyone in our business knows they make a difference and works accordingly.
Regardless of whether we are doing business inside our outside the O&L Group of Companies, our recipe remains the same which is our key to success.”
Regarding the PMR awards Wenk explained that companies are awarded on a number of levels. These recognise a specific company’s contribution to enhance the economic growth and development of the country over the past 12 months, its levels of managerial expertise, implementation of corporate governance, brand awareness and levels of innovation.
“We know that random national samples of 180 respondents made up of CEO’s, MD’s, business owners, company directors and managers, as well as senior local and national government officials, [form the basis on which the awards are made]. We are honoured that Broll Namibia is at the top of these important stakeholders’ awareness.”
Regarding the internal 12 Season awards, Wenk said that Broll had no expectation to win in 2014 as this had been a year in which almost all O&L Group companies had shown an exceptional performance from a growth and turn-around perspective.
“We were thus extremely proud of the recognitions received, especially as best overall operating company. This award is again testimony to the exceptional performance of the entire team at Broll Namibia.”
He said that the Overall Performing Company of the Year award is what all thirteen O&L companies worked for each year. “Winning this award and receiving the recognition of your peers provides us as an organization with the motivation, confidence and resolve to further improve on our past successes.
The O&L Group is without a doubt the best company to work for, and we feel nothing but pride to having contributed to its overall success in 2014.”
