Core PR for Waggener Edstrom

Local public relations practitioners, Core Public Relations  as of last week will now be representatives for Waggener Edstrom Communications, a global independent communication company that has embarked on a strong drive to establish a presence in 18 African markets.
Core PR said Africa has eight of the world’s 10 fastest growing economies, and across the continent the communications industry is poised for growth. Waggener Edstrom has engaged strategic partners in Africa to meet increasing client demand for expanded communications programmes.”

Waggener Edstrom’s business in South Africa has grown over 35% per year since its inception five years ago. Johannesburg will serve as an African hub for clients in the region, including Nissan, SolarCentury and Microsoft. New general manager James Wilson will lead efforts to integrate with partners as well as direct a number of existing pan-regional accounts across the continent.
