Learning through play

YA-globe2This week, FNB representatives handed free tickets to the Emmanuel Shifidi Secondary School principal, Herman Katjiuongua, to enable the school’s learners to go and watch the FNB Global United Climate Kick 2012 game on Saturday17 March, at the Sam Nujoma Stadium. Harold Hecht, chairman of Global United Namibia, said that they want to fill the Sam Nujoma Stadium on this rare occasion where international and continental players are coming from afar to play against the local football legends. He said: “our objective is to educate Namibians on environmental education and portray it as a tourist friendly country to the outside world.” A learner from the Emmanuel Shifidi Secondary School said that they are learning how to take care of their environment through FNB’s Global United Climate Kick campaign and it is encouraging them to recycle and take care of their environment.
