Country Club revamp

Tony Boucher, General Manager of the Windhoek Country Club Resort and Casino said the famous resort this week completed a major revamp of its Oryx Conference Centre. “We have one of the largest conference venues and are internationally renowned for our conference capabilities. You might recall that we have hosted events such as the Miss Universe pageant, the COP11 conference and the annual Miss Namibia pageant to name but a few,” he said

Boucher said the refurbishment is in line with their three-year strategic plan to renovate all bedrooms and public areas later this year. “The Oryx Conference centre has seven venues and can accommodate up to 900 delegates. We have ensured that the new revamp represents elegance with emphasis on colour and design. Simply put – it is now a conference and wedding planners dream.”
The resort’s management worked closely with the development team to ensure that the hotel stays in a leading position in the hospitality industry. “We remain relevant by anticipating, meeting and exceeding our guests evolving needs,” said Boucher.
