The schools – which take care of children with visual, hearing and mental disabilities – receive a monthly donation of soft drinks which they sell to raise additional funds and to enjoy at their annual school activities. Venessa Mwiya, O&L Corporate Social Responsibility Coordinator: “NBL has been proudly supporting the project for the past 14 years as it resonates very well with our purpose of ‘creating a future, enhancing life’. In addition to supporting the schools with soft drinks, we have also extended our support by printing name boards for the three schools, as well as cleaning their sports fields to make it safer for the children.” The Head of Department at the School for Hearing Impaired, Ms. Husselmann thanked the Breweries saying “these soft drinks keep us refreshed, while at the same time it gives us the opportunity to raise much-needed funds for our school. We sincerely appreciate NBL’s commitment to our schools.”
