Schools go green

TreesLutz Pfannenstiel, founder of Global United and Rainer Hahn, corporate secretary of Global United, recently visited the Hillside Primary and Highline Secondary schools in the vicinity of Goreangab dam. Global United planted trees at these two schools last year as part of the 2011 Global United Climate Kick initiative. The schools received 20 trees each from the Ministry of Forestry. The trees were planted at the two schools. Teachers enjoyed the visit by Global United and proudly showed off the trees. The major objective of the FNB Global United Climate Kick 2012 is to create environmental awareness in Namibia and around the globe.
