Fuel up and go well at Tal Valley Shell

Mervin and Suzette Gertze, the new owners of Tal Valley Shell Service Station.

After a change of hands in September, the well-known Tal Valley Shell Service Station has become the 24-hour one-stop shop that seeks to give customers service of a different class. Centrally located in the business district, Tal Valley Shell has managed to cater for local customers as well as travelling parties in and around Windhoek as they are situated at a very strategic location where the major routes to the south and to the north originate.

Tal Valley Shell is a favourite boarding point for Rehoboth commuters working in the city centre.
Here they can also obtain some refreshments before embarking on the hour-long journey. New owners Mervin and Suzette Gertze said the revamped Tal Valley Shell Service Station is the epitome of convenience as it is centrally located and now boasts a refurbished kitchen, a bakery and an extended patio to provide extra seating space.
For those who want their vehicle spotless, a new carwash has been opened and is operated by a dedicated and professional team. In addition to these services, Tal Valley Shell offers credit and debit card facilities for their clients. For travellers whose require to fuel up, both firms or individuals can make use of all fleet cards issued by financial institutions.
Tal Valley Shell also offers prepaid vending machines for purchasing electricity and other essentials after hours, since they operate 24 hours, providing a service within the CBD.
With a complement of well-trained staff with long time expertise in the field, Tal Valley Shell, as Mervin Gertze said, seeks to deliver and uphold the same values for its clientèle as those of Vivo Energy, the company behind the Shell brand in Africa.
With projects like the opening of a tyre centre that will provide Dunlop products in the upcoming year, Gertze said it is one of their 2015 strategies to hone in on a larger client base from the already bustling clientele that includes government agencies as well established private businesses. Having worked for Shell for just over 13 years, Gertze believes that the new and improved Tal Valley Shell Service Station will become a benchmark of service delivery as they focuses on different and unique services. Gertze thanked all the clients who had supported him during the period since taking up the hotseat of a service station owner’s office and hopes to deliver more to them.
“We will seek to elevate Tal Valley Shell to another level and prove that anything can be done to provide good quality service to our clientèle that has been our support,” he said.
