Blatter sings Mbidi’s praises

Congratulations are in order following the election of the new Namibia Football Association (NFA) leader, Frans Mbidi.
Federation of International Football Association (FIFA) President Joseph Blatter said, “I would like to extend my sincere congratulations and best wishes of success on your occasion of your election as the new President of the Namibia Football Association.”

Blatter added that Mbidi’s leadership acumen will transcend local football to further heights.
“Your knowledge and personal qualities will certainly have an important impact on stable development of our beautiful game in your country. You can rely on my personal support and FIFA’s assistance in order to reach this goal. I wish you and your team, good luck, strength and every success for this new challenge and look forward to seeing you soon,” read a statement from Blatter.
“I would like to offer you my warmest congratulation for your election as President for the Namibian Football Association, as well as the election of Mr. Naftal Ngalangi as 1st Vice-President, Mr. Ludwig Nunuheb as 2nd Vice-President and other members of the NFA Executive Committee,” he added..
South Africa Football Association (SAFA) Dr. Danny Jordaan also joined the bandwagon of praises for Mbidi and on behalf of South African football said, “we wish to express our sincere congratulations on your elevation to the position of President of Namibian Football. Your term of office offers progress to football in your country, our region and our continent.”
Jordaan assured Mbidi and his new executive committee’s South African Football Association’s continued cooperation and support for their four-year tenure at Football House.
