HD and Dolby on new decoder

Speaking at a function last week, the MultiChoice Namibia General Manager, Roger Gertze said their #AfricaTrending campaign is designed to inspire fellow Africans to become involved in community upliftment projects.
He added that MultiChoice continues to prioritise its investments to promote local film and television entertainment while collaborating with talented local filmmakers to create authentic African stories.
He also mentioned their newly launched channels Vusu Amp and M-Net Edge as well as their new application, DStv Now which will give subscribers far more control of their viewing.
M-Net Edge and Vuzu Amp are taking top-notch premium television content to an exciting next level. Both channels will schedule a combination of first-run programming and iconic shows with schedules designed to correlate with the latest worldwide viewing trends.

To make way for these two channels, the M-Net Series Showcase and M-Net Series Reality channels on DStv Premium, are discontinued.
MultiChoice also unveiled yet another innovation with the launch of its firs HD single view decoder. The DStv HD decoder delivers HD signals and Dolby Digital 5.1 surround sound accessible to DStv subscribers. The DStv HD decoder will replace the existing standard definition single view decoder.
