Major facelift for Agra Opuwo

Agra is celebrating the re-opening of their retail branch in Opuwo which received a major upgrade and added developments. The opening celebrations started with an evening function for invited guests on 26 November at the Opuwo Country Lodge and a special client’s day on 27 November. It continues with a big promotion with lots of products on special offer until 13 December. The Mayor of Opuwo, Councillor Tuarungua Kavari was the guest speaker at the opening function. He thanked Agra for positioning themselves to cater for Opuwo, the region and beyond. He mentioned that the Opuwo Town Council is driving a concerted effort to provide an environment conducive to current and future investors.

“Today, Agra is demonstrating its full confidence in the running of the affairs of Opuwo Town Council based on constantly, sustained and acceptable corporate governance,” he said. Agra’s General Manager: Retail and Wholesale, Arnold Klein expressed Agra’s appreciation for the forces that work together for Agra’s growth: the peace and stability that Namibia offers; Agra’s clients and staff and the fact that Agra is truly Namibian. He further thanked the Council of Opuwo for being accommodative in the negotiations to purchase the erf of 4 500m² for the development. Klein said: “Agra has confidence in the growth of this area of the country and our business in Opuwo , that is why we are confident that this investment in our service facilities was the right decision and another step in our endeavours to fulfil our purpose which is to create prosperity and improve quality of life. Other major investments recently celebrated was the opening of the Safari Den shop in Agra’s renovated Auas Valley Shopping Mall, the roof wetting of Agra’s property in the Lafrenz Industrial area on northern outskirts of Windhoek. Agra has upgraded several branches in the past five years and built a new branch in Oshivelo.
