Standard Bank re-appoints Leon Koch

Standard Bank Namibia announced the recent re-appointment of Leon Koch as Head Business Banking within the Personal and Business Banking (PBB) Department. He is responsible to set and deliver the Business Banking strategy for all Business banking segments (SMEs, Commercial, Agriculture and Commercial Property).
He also needs to ensure that customer value propositions are operationalized and Business Banking Sales and Financial performances are achieved in order support the overall PBB Team goals and objectives.

Leon has a rich 25 years working experience at Standard Bank Namibia. In the early 1990’s he was involved in retail working in various branches. He then supported the Africa Bank Master Implementation team in key African countries from 1998-1999 and since his return moved into Operations (Organisation & Methods) until 2000.  
He then returned to retail within branch and business banking until he was appointed Head of Executive Banking (Private and Business in 2009 and was serving as in the current position before from 2010 to 2014.  Academically he holds a Senior Management Diploma with Gordon Institute of Business Science in 2008, a Management Diploma and attended a Project Management Programme at the University of Stellenbosch in 2004 and 2006 respectively.
